she's getting around a lot quicker and is moving all over the cage when she's not basking. Since using the repashy rescue cal, her appetite has basically doubled (up to 10-15 small roaches/crickets a day now). And she overall seems to be doing better - her arms up front are bending more at the joints, though she still holds herself a little low in the front (where most of the bone loss occurred).
I also have a question about egg laying. I don't think she's quite old enough yet, but because of the MBD could this have stunted her growth? We think she already had it when we got her and it just progressed worse without us knowing about the calcium w/o D3. I've read that some chameleons have laid eggs as early as 5 months and yoda is about four months we think. I already have a bin with about 5-6 inches of organic soil for her to use, but was wondering if there are any other things I need to provide for her?
the vet suggested to give extra calcium along with the standard supplement. I'm giving the repashy rescue cal orally (using the vets solution %) and then regular calcium w/o d3 daily on her feeders.
