Current Problem -I received Rose a little over two months ago today. This past weekend she was not looking good to me, her eyes were sunken and she was actually closing her eyes during the day(which i know is a tell tale sign of a sickness). So i called a vet immediatley and made an appointment. I went in yesterday morning and got a checkup and an xray. The vet prescribed me injections to give to her because she thought Rose has a mouth infection. Also, the Xray showed very low bone density so she prescribed calcium to be given orraly if she wont eat my dusted crickets. When i looked into her cage this morning she was hanging by her tail head resting on the bottom with her eyes closed. I was so scared, but when i took her out and gave her a good misting she started to be more active and open her eyes. She has a hard time holding on to branches and i never see her eat or drink. I replaced my UVB yesterday because i think that may of been a problem. What else can i do to help her? I just feel horrible seeing her suffer.

Hi I'm sorry you are having problems with Rosé. I take it that the X-ray didn't show eggs? With her very low bone density it could be that she may not have had good supplementation before she came to you. It also sounds as if your little girl is quite sick. If she cannot hold on to her branches could you bring her basking branch down and put a folded towel on the bottom of her viv in case she falls. If she is not eating or drinking could you make up some bug juice and syringe feed her. Dribbling warm water by her nose and mouth may stimulate her to drink. Hopefully she will feel better when the antibiotics kick in. Keep us posted and good luck.:)

Her body looks plump but her cheeks and tail say malnourished.

As above asked...The vet didnt notice any eggs in the xrays?

If she doesnt have eggs and she is eating 10 crickets every 3 days. You may want to take her next feces to test for parasites.

Edit: I would set up a permanent lay bin in her cage.
