Please confirm sex

Hello,

I purchased a male nosy be, and I really am not doubting his sex, but I would like to just have someone else confirm 100% because he is going to be 5 months tomorrow and has grown only slightly, if at all. He is starting to show color, but I'm wondering why he isn't getting any bigger. He eats dubias, worms, and crickets, and drinks well, and his eliminations are brown and white as appropriate. Just wanting to make 100% sure about his gender before I start trying to figure out why else he might be so small! Thanks!

Showing his small size...

If you can get some photos of a full on side view with the tail sticking out straight that would help. I dont want to even take a guess on this one because I get mixed feelings with each picture.

Im pretty sure you have a male there. going by the blue cheeks and second last pic.

I feel he is a male because he was sold to me as male from a reputable breeder, but we are all human and mistakes do happen, so I wanted to be certain. I figured if he was a female, that would justify why he is so small for his age. Thanks!

Females will often show the blue, green or purple cheeks before the males start. I do see the "V" at the tail base but judging by color (grayish) I would say its a male with not much of a bulge or thick tail base.

It appears male to me. Do you weigh him? Sometimes it looks like they aren't growing much, but their weight actually goes up. It is also possible that he is just a smaller guy. I would allow him to eat as much as he can in about ten minutes 2-3 times a day.
