Plastic vs. silk?

Most of my plants will be real but was wondering if one or two silk or plastic are ok? And if so which is a safer bet?

Only real ones are advised for use with veileds. What species of chameleon do you have?

I am getting. One in March. Hoping for panther but don’t know what will end up happening by then!

I really don't like to see fake plants used in any chameleon cages...real ones help with humidity, prevent the risk of ingesting fake ones (on purpose or accidentally) that might lead to impaction, provide a more natural environment for the chameleon's, etc.

With Panther chameleons, you have to watch what branches they use IMHO. Because they nibble on them, they should be nontoxic.
