Can someone tell me if there are pros & cons when using fake plants. There are some broad leafs out there made with silk & there are some smaller leafed plants that are made of plastic. Is one better than another ?

Well, one definite con of using a fake plant is they do not help retain humidity in your viv like a real plant does. Its better to have live or mix live with a few fill in fakes. I prefer plastic to silk if you are going to use fake because they can be washed off very easily and sanitized better. The silk is made of material and obviously will not clean up as well as plastic.
