For a male veiled chameleon what is the best plant? Pathos sounds good, but I want a tall climbing plant. I've heard its not good to use ficus and they produce a sap that can cause eye issues. Is that true? Thanks~

I really like schefflera arbicolas. They are very sturdy and can get pretty tall. A lot of people use ficus. Here is a list of safe plants to use in enclosures.

I was researching a toxic plant list and Ficus do cause mouth & eye irratations and it said the Schefflera plant is known to cause problems in animals! So do a lil research before u choose!!

I heard of the dwarf umbrella tree being absolutely fine. I think you can blame any problems on any plants.
