Hey Ladies and Gents!
Im just curious who of you out there have a Planted Veiled Chameleon set up and how you find it?
I am aware that the general consensus it that no substrate is the norm and planted with substrate is bad; However having to traulled through hours of posts and pictures I have seen some planted set ups!
I came across these in my hours of researching information about chameleons, by no means am I implying that I want a Veiled Chameleon in a fully planted set up; as my researching has actually led me to look at a completely different reptile species all together as I can't give a chameleon the life it deserves due to work commitments!
Anyhoo there seems to be little information on these types of setups, so Im just wondering what works for in regards to things such as;
Substrate
Drainage
Cleaning
Misting times/Drying out times
Ventilation
Feeders
Feel free to add anything to the list like I said, Im just curious (nosey) and would love to know what works for you all, and Im sure that any information you share will be beneficial to the forum, now and in the future for both currently and potential owners!
Of course any pictures are also welcome!
