Plant!

Not sure of its poisonous but reading the description makes it seem like it may not last in a terrarium :(

The description says it grows berries. I would be worried about that. Also, while a plant might not be toxic, it may have sap that is irritating to the skin or eyes. In my opinion it's better to be safe than sorry and stick with what's on the "safe plants list". I've had to pass on many cool-looking plants because I just don't want to risk my chameleon's health.

Ohhh, I didn't think about the berries or sap. Dang. Looked like a great ground cover. I'll just grab baby's tears

Found a REALLY cool plant at wal mart last night-Rhipsalis Prismatica...anyone know if it's toxic? Can't seem to find much about it...But it says it's in madagascar, so I'd assume it's fine?

here's the link:

Actually this one isn't from Madagascar. Rhipsalis are succulents and may contain saps or fluids high in oxalates, alkaloids, or other things your cham shouldn't be eating. I also doubt it would get enough direct light in a cage to do very well. Because we don't know and your cham hasn't been exposed to it without problems, better to stick with other plants.

Yeah...it's so cute though ;D I'm going to get a grow light to put in the cage, so high light isn't too much of an issue =3

Also...how long will a 36" cage be okay for a male ambilobe?
