Plant Quetsion

So I have a small orange tree (it grows oranges the size of quarters) and was wondering if it would be safe for my ambilobe panther cham to chill on? I wouldn't have it inside his cage; it would just be for him to sit on when he feels like being out in the rest of my house. Supervised, of course. Would it be safe for him? Thanks! The tree's about 3 and 1/2 feet tall
