Which type of light is best for promoting plant growth and still safe for the chameleon cage? I know cfls are too bright, just wanted to know what you guys use, thanks

T5ho 6500k bulbs are the best for plant growth and won't harm your Cham at all. Check out light your reptiles Todd's got tons of stuff!

Will these be in place of a uv bulb? Or is this strictly for plants.

The ARCADIA is the UVB bulb, you can get a two bulb fixture and put both the Arcadia and a 6500K bulb in it for the plants..

24" hood includes Arcadia 12% bulb and 6500k daylight.
I've never used Arcadia, is this the proper Arcadia bulb for a panther chameleon in a 2x2x4 cage?

I'm not sure on that, I think that the 6% is the same as a 5.0 and the 12% is more like a 10.0. Send them a message and they'll be happy to help you decide.
