plant light diffuser???

hi everyone,
i just bought a plant light for my live plant in my viv. my question is, i'm using this fixture w/ a 6500K bulb but...

can i leave the diffuser on or do i have to remove it for my plant to get the light that it needs? thanks.

I would remove it. The diffuser does reduce the amount of light reaching the plants.

You can add a bit of foil (mylar or aluminium) to help reflect more light toward the growing area. Place this behind the bulbs and on the outside edges, if you want.
