Plant ID with pic (is it safe?)

Like the title said I just want to make sure my recent purchase is "Cham safe" before I endanger my chams. Thanks for any useful input!

Syngonium

Your plant is _Syngonium_ and its probably a form of _S. podophyllum_; its in the Aroid family (the Philodendron family) and is suspect. The whole family is likely to have irritating effects if eaten. I could not find any specific references to this plant having caused poisonings, but it is often listed as toxic.

It is a very common house plant and if it were dangerous, I recon there would be more data on poisonings. Use with caution.

Thanks for the info. Your answer is exactly why I hesitated to use it. I tried doing my own research but botany is not my thing. It will stay outside the cage.
