Plant help

I'm looking for a nice (preferably tall) plant to put in the middle of my 4' tall enclosure.

I was thinking a Hibiscus, but I've also heard that they don't do well indoor and are meant for natural sunlight, is this true?

Also, what are your thoughts on a Ficus, or any other plant that can be hardy and sturdy enough for the middle of my enclosure?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the quick response guys!

Are there many types of ficus, or shefflera (some I should avoid)?

Leorand, that's a cool video haha, he may just be part monkey...The dracaena is very nice for a decoration plant, but I was looking for something sturdy that he can use as a main source of climbing!

Thanks again!

I know of the Ficus and Ficus Benjamin and they are both chameleon safe. Also I use the Shefflera that have both the solid green leaves and one that has yellow and green. I have a panther cham and he does not eat his plants. you have to worry more so with the Veilds as they are plant eaters. Not all, but some are.

I'm also getting a panther, so hopefully that won't be a problem!

I'm liking both the trees, now it's just a matter of taste...

Thank you for your replies, very helpful!

you are welcome! I have never seen my panther try and eat any type of plant. They will chew or knaw on things though from time to time, like branches and stuff. Now don't ask me why!
