I found a small trashcan laying around that is about 10 inches below the handle holes.. It is a bright pink color as you can see.. is this okay to be using in the cage? I put peat moss down as the soil, and made it pretty wet so if my veiled chameleon does start digging, that she won't get buried.. I also wrapped a blanket around the cage for privacy and noticed the basking area hit a little over 100F!!! So now I have the cage wrapped around 3 out of the 4 sides, (open where the basking area is) to let out some of the heat.
I also noticed a white line on her head, I was thinking it was a piece of skin that hasn't shed off?
