Iwould have posted new pics of Zee sooner but the batteries died in my camera. He liked his new house at first but it was a little overwelhming :eek:for him so we have him in his feeding container for now inside his new house over night and whe we are at work with crickets. He loves attention. He squeaks when he is mad or sleeping.

Baby chams are the best.

He is tiny! I'm not very familure with cham age/size but are you sure he's 3 months? My guy was also bought as a 3 month old and he was 2 times that size. Maybe I need to confirm my chams age better.

My little guy is about that size, and we have been told he is 2 months old

Nice snaps :)

How is he getting on with the enclosure now?

Im intrigued by the noises he makes, quirky little guy :D

Zeechiller your cham is adorable. He looks very healthy in the photos- nice full casque, round eyes and round belly and well filled-out legs. Our veileds grow at vastly different rates, some large, some small. So, I've seen small 3 month olds. Does he have spurs on his back feet? How long have you owned him?

I didn't know that Chams can make noises!

Some of our chams make noises. We have a Meller that barks occasionally. Many of our chams will "chuff". We have a female veiled that vibrates, like a pygmy cham does. We do hear our babies squeek and chuff when they scuffle with one another. But the squeeking while asleep is a concern. Does it sound like wheezing? I would see if I could hear clicking sounds when he is breathing, and try to check his mouth for lots of stringy saliva and/or bubbles, just to be sure he doesn't have a respiratory infection. I realize he is a little small for such examinations. But he does look really healthy.

he stopped squeaking in his sleep. and yes he is 3 months. he spurs on his legs and i've had him since 5-6-09. he was born feb 9. he hatched backwards and needed help out of his egg. the 3rd pic is him in a plastic pretzel container that i use to feed him in. he looked like he was stalking the crickets or playing hide and seek. i also have not seen any strings or bubbles.he likes his big boy cage.:)
