I finaly got a new camera that takes some decent pictures of my pair of chams. They are about 4 months old. Let me know what ya think. I particulary like the one picture of the two of them under the basking light, where the female, Lia is hanging upside down.
Hey there Dan! I'm glad you got a camera You may want to play around with the lighting when you take pictures. It can be difficult to capture their colors, etc. under cage lighting, especially at night. I would try taking some more during the day. I sometimes have to shoot twenty pictures to get one I really like. I am always trying to get around the cage lighting situation. You can also take pictures of them outside the cage. Put a plant on a table and put the cham on the plant. It is easier to get the lighting right when the cage lights are not involved.
Your boy has indeed grown! And Dean, there are a couple of threads from earlier today and yesterday that relate to why Dan has this pair together. He got the male from me. They are going to stay together until the male's hormones start to kick in in another month or so. The male is very mellow and they are getting along fine for now. They are both young juvies. The male's other siblings are still living at my house peacefully in groups of three. They will be separated in a month or so. Dan will separate his female after a while to let her mature completely before breeding them
