That isn't pretty plump, that is a balloon waiting to pop, poor uncomfortable giro

guys, dont scare me like that. this is a pic of her basking before sleep, so she does look real deep. but i dont know, like im very confused about her. i have a laying bing in there, a 3 or 4 gallon paint bucket in there with play sand. im constantly spraying the bucket hard to keep it moist, but it seems like it dries fast. how often should i change the sand? shes never showed signs of digging, but has been venturing near the bottom alot. like ive said in other posts, she will be in the stems of the lower plants, but pays no attention to the bucket. im not losing this female to egg binding. im just very confused and worried
