Picky or hunger strike?

My 8 mo. old cham Igor is refusing to eat crickets. He eats one or two that escape the feeding cup sometimes but that is it. HE will eat superworms, but I just introduced them and I do not want him to become addicted. Does anyone have any advice? Is this him being picky or is he going on a hunger strike of sorts. I am thinking of putting in food daily, removing what he doesn't eat at night and then hoping that when he is hungry, he will eat. What do you think?

mine was doing the same, i switched to feeding every other day and now he eats everytime...but getting bored with the same food happens too so i give my male collard greens some days and that stimulates his appetite.

I read about this problem when i first joined and someone was feeding them to many supers. I think the advice given was to not feed him for a day or 2 and then just give him crickets so its the only thing he can get. I think the problem with eating only superworms is that while they may taste good to them they dont really get the same nutrients from it
