Phoenix worms

I have a thing of phoenix worms that i thought was all gone. The container has been sitting in the chameleon room for months now. I was getting rid of things today and realized there were still phoenix worms in this container and lots of flies that have died.

My question, are these worms still good? They have been sitting there forever without food and clean bedding. There isn't any mold that is noticeable. Some of the worms that are alive look darker than normal.

If anyone can give me some advise on this it would be greatly appreciated.

Personally if they are that old and have dead flies in with them I would be afraid to use them. Why take any chances that it might possibly harm you chameleon. Jann
