Pheonix Worms

Hi all.

My Cham isn't a big lover of crickets. I am thinking of switching his food to a worm. He loves worms usually.

I am struggling to find silkworm suppliers in the UK. However I can get phoenix worms. Would these be a good option?

They are nutritionally a good food source. Some chams like them. Mine will eat them at times & other times will wait for something they like better.

I get them from a company called Coastal Silkworms here in the states and they say on their website they are the perfect balance of calcium and phosphorus and a great feeder. The thing is, they are small, even the large ones. They are basically fly maggots and turn into a black fly called a Soldier fly. The flies do not get that big either. My chameleon will eat the flies but they do not fill him up too much as he is an adult chamleon. I guess for babies or juvies they would be a good feeder.

Good to know thanks!
