Phenoix worms

Most of my worms have turned black! Are they dying? What can I feed them?

thats what they do before they change, i was told that anyways, havent actually gotten them to change maybe im not giving them the right conditions, but there not dieing even seys it on the website im sure.

Agree. I was told that they turn into dark colour when they are undergo pupae stage.

yes they turn blackish/brown and then will turn into black soldier flies. i made the mistake of throwing all mine away at first, cause I thought they had died!!

They still haven't changed yet :/

They need the right conditions, just like the pamphlet says. I think they recommend putting the pupae in a jar in a dark place and waiting 14 days, but you'll have to try the Phoenix worm website or info on breeding black soldier fly
