Pest control

Something I’ve been wondering about and some recent posts prompt me to ask. How do I preventative pest (bug) control for my house now that I’ve got a cham and her feeder bugs? I usually spray every few months...the diy stuff that goes around the baseboards inside. Don’t think my outdoor foundation and window spraying would be an issue. My Cham is in the spare bedroom along with her feeder bugs. Obviously I know not to spray that room, but it’s a tiny house and I wonder how far away from her room is it safe to spray. Florida is bug central and the only ones I want in my house are the ones I intentionally bring in.

Which feeders are you afraid of being pests? Nothing your feeding should probably be any cause for concern. If you're in florida, your worries are already living all around lol

Not worried about my feeders being the pests. I’m careful with them so they don’t escape. I don’t want to poison them though in my attempts to keep the outside wild bugs out of my house.

The poison would have to be physically transfer from the application location to your viv. Meaning it would have to be one your hands or something and you would have to go touch him and/or his viv for it to be a threat. As long as the room door is closed you aren’t spraying in that room you will be fine. If your concern about your feeders just double-bin them.
