people that breed fruit flies

any of you with a large amount of small sp. of chameleons, or whatever that require you to have fruit flies all the time, have you experienced an explosion of mites????

i did recently, and im curious if any of you use insecticide shelf paper. preventing mites... LMK what you've experienced.

Happily, no, ive never had mites. I've always got 10-40 cultures of flies going at any time. Dont use any special paper either.
