Patched up skin. Anyone delt with this?

That's strange. I've not had anything like that before on any of my chameleons. If I did I would definately ask my vet about it.

I've mentioned but he only does it sometimes and within the past few days. I noticed it the first time he fell in some water . Which was the day he got sick and I immediately took him in.

If he recently fell in some water, I wonder if he will shed soon and that has just caused the skin to separate a little prematurely? (I'm totally guessing here.)

Yes it is. He has edema which is currently being treated. It's on and off. It swells when he gets on the heat. I believe it was caused by the food I was giving my crickets the past 2 1/2 months. It's Mazuri and has animal protein in it. Crickets are off. I ordered cricket crack. Got new crickets and feeding them fresh fruits and veggies now

Well I'm pretty sure he will shed soon. He has gained half his body weight in the past week since he has been on carnivore care

I started him on reptaid today. Since he is having kidney issues I can't put him on heavy duty antibiotics. The vet wouldn't prescribe it.
