Passion flower vine clipping

i'm curious about a plant clipping from a passion flower vine that i took a three inch clipping of about two months ago. Now it's like ten or eleven inches. Do i still have to worry about parasites that may possibly harm my chameleon? is that clipping ever gonna be safe to put into my chameleons enclosure?? Any suggestions as to how and if i could possibly use it.. Thanx in advance

You don't need to do anything too special to plants, just rinse them with some soapy water or just rinse them really well, repot in organic soil, and voila. Anplant from a nursery or gardening store will not usually come with anything besides fertilizers that can harm your chameleon. Passion flower is said to be poisonous though.

Passion Flower clipping for enclosure

Wow, really?? I looked the passion flower up on the flchams link "safe plants" and it was one of the safe ones. then i did another search and found that the fruit from it was even edible for humans. i know that chameleons are much different. i heard that if crickets eat tomato and then your cham eats that crick it will kill your cham, off the subject but Thankyou VERY much i'm definitely gonna look into that further before i put it into the enclosure...

I had one in one of my cages, so don't think that I thought it was something worth freaking out about, but I've heard that the leaves essentially have cyanide in them and enough of it can kill. But boiled, you can drink them as a safe tea. I didn't find too much info on it, so it probably isn't on the list of top deadliest plants. So for a panther that never eats vegetation, I wasn't very worried, but for maybe a veiled I would probably lean towards removing it.
