Hi i recently picked up my male Blue bar ambilobe x nosy mitsio panther chameleon, and it was just finishing shedding when i first got him. He has not shed since, is the normal ? He is 4 months old

Maybe not the norm, but nothing to freak out about. He might not be going through a growth spurt at the moment. Usually when they shed at that young age they are growing. When they become adults they do not shed whole body sheds very often and will just shed in part parts, like their tail, feet, etc. He will shed again, don't worry!

Ok thanks for the help!

How much does he weigh? Has he gained weight since you got him? They shed as they grow. If you are not weighing him I recommend doing so. I weigh mine once a week to make sure the weight is staying steady or with young ones they they are growing. Weight loss is often a sign of illness and you want to stay on top of any health problems because these guys go down fast.

I do not have a weigher that weigh grams, but i do know he is an bigger than when i got him, which means he is heavier

Wow, can't wait to see pictures! It is not uncommon for chameleons to be slow on shedding the first couple of times in their new environment! Be patient, feed him well and keep him sell hydrated! Now post us some pictures! Please!
