Hi everyone. I know this is a common question but I'm just really not sure if my Colin is male. He's about 5 months, the breeder said he was male when I got him 3 weeks ago. He has a bulge but I'm not sure if that's just his leg muscles or not. Please throw some opinions at me. First shed today and I've seen him eat quite a few times so I'm hoping I'm doing everything right. Poo defo has white not yellow in it despite I've never seen him drink.

Wow, you seem very certain. I was expecting non committed opinions at best. I really can't tell the difference between all the pics I've seen of both sexes at this age so I don't know how people know so easily. Thankyou anyway. I'll still be unsure till he shows colour but thankyou for helping me not worry so much.

His tail has a pretty big bulge, and his colors are very male, even though he doesnt have his mature colors yet. He already has a little bit of a green-ish tint in addition to his typical male grey colors.

Be certain. It's a male. I wouldn't question the sex of the animal but I might question the age. He doesn't look 5 months to me, but he could just be a late bloomer.

Wow, this is all sounding very re assuring. I've had him 3 weeks and was told he was about 17 weeks when I got him. Do you think he looks younger then?

He could be if he is a really slow grower/runt or wasnt fed enough by the breeder. Most 5 months olds are bigger though. Has he grown significantly since you got him? I would suggest weighing him weekly to monitor his growing either way.
