idk what to do to fix this, his eye opens and looks fine but he keeps it closed most of the time ... is there a simply fix

i have the exoterra fixture with 2 heat lamps and 2 uve swirly bulbs

Wow I stepped away for a few minutes. As Norton and others stated ditch the compact flourescent bulbs asap. They have been known to cause eye issues with chams. Buy a strip flourescent fixture and a repti glo 5.0 bulb. If you want more light for plants just buy a 6500K flourescent bulb for the plants and add another fixture. On my small cages I use one bulb for uvb and an incandescent household bulb for basking. On my large cages I use one uvb bulb and one plant bulb in addition to the basking light. If you make those changes and dont see any improvement within a day or two take him to the vet asap.
