From what age do panthers first develop colour?, and do they first turn grey and then develop their colour?

Do baby male and females look alike colour wise when juvenile?

My baby is 3months old 2" from snout to slit and is still brown/dark grey.

My panther started showing colour around 3/4 months. You may see some change after the next shed...

some develop colors faster than others. For instance the Sambavas(which I have) take longer to get there mature colors. This fact came straight from the breeder, Kammerflage Kreations. At 5 months, my chameleons was still pretty gray and dull looking. I would say by 6 months you should see some decent coloration no matter why type of panther it is. The females and males are usually hard to distinguish when young, but as they mature there is a definite difference with the females, being, brown, peachy and orangish, although they can have some purple and blue to them also. The males display all the greens, yellow, reds, blues, oranges etc very vibrantly..

If its just showing orange and nothing else it could be a female. You should post a pic :D They should shed every couple of weeks at that age, and it slows down from there.
