Panther Chameleon

I have a 3 year old Panther Chameleon, about a week ago he choked on a worm and was laying at the bottom of the cage. My husband was able to get the worm out of his mouth, he acted weird the next couple of days.
After that he seemed just fine. Then last Monday we came home to find him laying on the floor of the cage, his coloring was very light and he was life less. We took him out and I held him for sometime and put him back into his cage, he was able to hold on to the branch while leaning on the cage. The next morning he was back to his old self, eating, drinking and pooping as normal. We feed him Vita bugs and butter worms.
He has been fine for an entire week and then yesterday when we got home he was the same way. This morning when we woke up he was normal again. Can chameleons have seizures or is this something toxic that is affecting him? Has anyone else experienced this before?

We have UVB bulbs (Repto 100), heat lamp, Mist King mister system, fogger. The temperature is kept at 80 at the highest point by the light. We also have a dripper system for him to drink water from the leaves.
The cage is screen/Glass combination 30x30x45
It is located on a desk in our living room.
He is very friendly and he comes out everyday, sometimes two to three times a day.

I have attached a picture of him at his worst.

I want to try and prevent this from happening again.
I would hate to lose him the next time he has an episode.
