Panther chameleon not visibly eating

Hi all we have recently purchased a panther chameleon, we previously had a Yemen and were finding them so different. We've had the panther for nearly 2 weeks now and at first we could see her eating but it's been 4/5 days since we have seen her eat. She is only tiny so hasn't been eating a lot anyway but we're just concerned a little and wondered how we can infuse her to eat again. Thanks Nikki

Are you sure she's not eat? Is she pooping? Are you cup feeding her? Are you trying to watch while she eats?

Hi yes we tried cup feeding her but she just looks at it and nothing else. We tried feeding with tongs but she just puffs her neck up. She is drinking but again we haven't seen her poo since yesterday. We could be over reacting but just want to make sure she is ok.

It's ok if she hasn't eaten for a day. That's no big deal. What are you offering for feeders?

Let a couple feeders loose in her cage. She might need the movement to stimulate her to eat. Just make sure you remove them before her bedtime

Also what size crickets are you feeding her. Make sure they aren't larger then the space between her eyes.

We've been giving her crickets size 3 so now I'm thinking they may be a little big for her as she is only small. I'll get her some smaller ones tomorrow and see if that helps.

You might want to try some different feeders too, she might be bored with the same feeder everyday. Try some soft-bodied feeders.
