Panther chameleon male or female?

When I first bought my chameleon I was told it was a ambilobe bluebar male , however I think it could possibly be female.He/she is currently 8 months but still remains brown colours with a small amount of blue behind the eyes and on the top of its head. Either way I don't mind I would just really like to know :)

Hi
what a beautiful panther, I think could be a girl, but really not sure, could possibly be a late bloomer.

Very hard to see the vent area in any of your pics but my gut from overall characteristics is male. Should be showing more color at 8months, are you sure on age and have you reviewed the care sheets on this forum? May be a husbandry issue that's need dialed in to make the little guy more comfortable, dark coloration like that can be a sing of stress or cold.

Thank you for your reply , I think I will adjust the heating in the enclosure and move his vine closer to the lamp , his eating and drinking fine currently but he doesn't particuarlly like the camera so may contribute to his stress stripes in the pictures.

You definitely have a female. You'll want to get her a laying bin set up soon if you haven't all ready.
