Hey everyone,
While i was at dinner last night with some family that i don't see too often they asked about my chameleons and all things related. At one point breeding them came up in conversation and i realized i wasn't all that sure about a few details. Now i have done this before(twice) and have a pretty good idea of the answers, but i thought i would throw this out there for the more experienced breeders.
1. At what age and weight are most female panthers ready/healthy to breed?
2. How often do female panthers cycle eggs, fertile or not?
3. How often should female panthers breed once the appropriate age?
I always thought that breeding was more a dependent of weight/size and not age, but i never had a scale before now so i kind of just winged it.
Just for reference my female is about 5 months old, and weighs about 53 grams(give or take a poop), i figure she needs to be about 9 months(ish) and somewhere in the 80 gram range, What does everyone else think?
