Panther and veiled Chams together?

Hi,

We just got our first veiled cham a few weeks ago, he is about 3 to 4 months. Our terrarium is very big (23"x23"x48") and we were thinking about gettting a second cham. Is it ok to have two males as they get older? Is it possible to have a veiled and a panther chameleon together?

With all types of chameleons it is never ever a good idea to keep males together, and as for mixing panthers and veiled. They come from different climates and are very solitary animals. Its usually best to keep chameleons alone except when breeding

Unfortunately, you CAN'T keep them together especially two different species. Chams are solitary creatures and must be kept in their own separate cages.

Actually, you don't really want to keep two of any chams together. Males will become very territorial and fight or stress each other to death. Males and females will breed too young or the male will stress the female. They are simply solitary, territorial creatures best housed alone.
