Overdue?

Hello all!
Well I still don't have quad eggs, but I am confused as to why not. My pair bred four times, then she started rejecting him. I have had the laying bin in there, and she just doesn't seem interested. She isn't super active, like one who is about to lay, and I have only been able to feel eggs for a little bit. The last breeding date was 3-30-11 so I figure she became gravid then, and not the first breeding, 3-12-11. She still eats, she's been eating supers and crickets. I give her showers every few days to ensure she is very hydrated. She often goes poo after the showers in her laying bin, and the urates are pearly white. I am not too worried, as she bred over a course of two and a half weeks. Just was curious to see what everyone thought.

If she is that healthy, no worrys .6 weeks doesn't seem long but I don't have experience with quads. Someone who has bred them has your answer I'm sure. Sounds exciting, good luck with them !

Hey, I've been thinking about getting a cham..

going to the LIHS auction and see if I can get some housing and equipment cheaply.. I like to keep a cham since I have endless supply of silks!! :D

I am getting excited. I wanna take down my fishtank. there is only one cichlid in it!

It has been 8 weeks since the first breeding, but 6 1/2 weeks since the last breeding. She is crawling around the bottom of the cage now, so maybe she is ready :D

Have you taken some recent pictures so we can take a look? if you are looking at & bothering her you know that won't help. You said showering in her laying bin? How wet is the sand. dirt, whatever in the bin? That is the best I can think of now.

I will upload some from a few days ago. I took her outside of the cage for the shower. I leave her alone, but when I go in there to spray and feed the others, I just look in there for a second to see if she has started digging. I have the cage completely covered, and like I said, I don't look at her long, not even everyday. Mostly just once a day, either in the morning or night. If I do it a second time, I do it when the lights are off, and she is asleep so it isn't bothering her.
