Our recent Columbia South Carolina expedition...

Here are a few pic's of our recent reptile show visit in Columbia South Carolina. It was about a 2.75 hour drive one way but well worth it. We picked up a res eyed tree from whom we named Schmegle, a Mel named Shen Long and a female Veiled we are calling Maui! Here are a few pictures and even a squirrel that was nice enough to say "Cheese" on our trip. I hope you enjoy the pic's. The last few snakes are Cobras!!! Check out the Monkey! We also picked up a few anoles and tree frogs for a few bucks on the way from Craigs list. The Mel has his issues but I am sure with a little TLC he will come along. I he has a small chunk out of his dorsal from an old wound and it looks like someone had him way too close to a basking area, but he took right to us, and is already eating as well as the new female veil. I will post a few picts of her as soon as she calms down a bit and the Tree from as well. The salcutta adult you see is about 200 lbs and the monitor is about 5 feet long. Pretty rad if I do say so myself. Hope you enjoy the picts! Any q's let me know. Oh and I picked up the Mel for 60 dollars. I could have had my pic for 80-100 for the perfect ones, but I just could not let Shen Long stay where he was any longer. I just couldn't. Thanks Ladies and Chams for looking at our adventure!

Very nice pics, thanks for sharing. Big hearted of you tocome to the rescue. As you said, with a little tlc, most pets come through and they deserve it!

Thanks...

If you could only have seen him there in that little cage....Sniff....and the way he rushed to meet us. No hesitation what so ever...He even went into my wifes coat and settled down for a snooze. It was awesome...
