Hi Everyone!
Well, in January, we lost our first veiled cham - Jenny. We were inexperienced and bought her at PetSmart. She lived one year and was sick from the time we bought her. We spent at least $500+ in vet bills and tried everything but well....PetSmart won.
It was absolutely heartbreaking. She died of suffocation from a URI in my hands. I never was a 'reptile person' and it was so very hard.
It took me nine months before I could get another one but we bought another veiled girl from FLChams. She is our Clover and is very, very healthy.
She has the sweetest disposition and I just wanted to let you know that I finally was able to get another cham. I'm so glad we did. I can't imagine ever being without one.
They curl their little tails around your heart, don't they?
I'm glad to be a cham owner again.
