organic?

When purchasing new plants from nurseries for your chams, must they be organically grown? (I.E. no pesticides)

You should use organic soils because the pesticides and other non-organic soil additives are harmful to your chameleon.

Oh I see what you mean. All the plants I have used for my chameleons were grown in non-organic, pesticide soils that the typical plant nurseries use. Just make sure to remove all the old soil, thoroughly wash the plant, and then repot it in new organic soil. As long as you do that, there shouldn't be a problem.

Alright, that sounds good. Thanks!

Also, what kind of plants are safe for chameleons that are tall, vine-like, and easy to keep indoors? I want to purchase hibiscus, but am worried about how it will do indoors (I don't have a green-thumb) and I would like something more suitable for my chameleon to climb around on. Any suggestions?
