ordering a light

hi am ordering a light for my cage but having a hard time. my cage is 30"Lx24"Wx36"t and not to sure if i should get a fixture 30" long with a 24" reptisun 5.0 or a 24" fixture with a 18" reptisun 5.0 what would u guys or gals get an i want to order soon as am getting my cham in about 2 or 3 weeks thanks

You want the fixture size to be the width of the cage. So if you cage is 24 wide then you get the 24 inch fixture. So that one will probably take an 18 inch bulb cause there is usually about 3 inches on each side where the light screws in. I have a 30 inch fixture with a 24 inch bulb. Just make sure you are not mixing up the depth with the width. My cage is 30 wide x 36 high X 18 inch deep(from front to back)

so you want the 30 inch fixture with the 24 inch bulb!

I run a branch the whole length of the cage under the UVB light about 8 inches down. It is up to him if he wants to sit under it or not.

I have to admit I love the DIY (site sponsor) fixtures they reflect throught the enclosure wether you decide on a compact or tubular light !!! I am very impressed. Now thinking of replacing the other 4 with their fixtures!
