I can afford to give you 10 dollars, no doodle needed ^^ I just want to help with your baby

I don't know if you could call my babies beautiful compared to other chameleons lmao. Ryker who is my breeder baby sadly had burn scars because I learned through trial and error that he is desperately reactive to basking lights and halogen bulbs. Besides right now he's in a healing process of getting his eyes back to normal after I tried adding his uvb back and then realized I had accidentally been sold the wrong bulb, it was put in a 5.0 case but was actually a 10.0 it was too strong for his eyes. I have been thinking about switching to a 2.0 and then slowly increasing to a 5.0 just to hopefully build up his tolerance. He seems relatively sensitive to synthetic lighting. I could send a picture of my beautiful female Jackson. However the thing is, it's her personality that makes her as gorgeous as she is, since her limbs are bent from suffering for at least 8 months with mbd with no care. I ended up rescuing her and she is amazing and lightens my life so much. However I am not sure a drawing could correctly capture her. Especially if I don't get a good picture of her. Let me see what I can do for a picture on my end. How do you want me to send the money?

Scars and all you're still awesome. I have one that has no skin. And one that is totally blind. That's why we love them

No matter the flaws, all chams are equally beautiful and deserve love!

Whatever happens from this thread, please DO NOT get a red heat bulb for your chameleon. With all the info available here on the forums you should be able to figure the proper items to provide heat at night if even necessary. Where do you live that it is already 40 degrees at night indoors?

New Jersey, and heating is kinda broken
I dont exactly have money to buy more supplies at the moment because school

I don't want to argue, and I hope you don't think I'm coming across as such, but I spent most of my life in NY, and my room never got below the mid 60's. Do you have no heat where you keep the chameleon? Veiled chameleons can easily deal with temps into the 40's and 50's when healthy as long as they have a good basking spot to warm up the next morning.

I have a basking bulb but he got worms and hasn't been eating well. He just got the de-wormer yesterday from the vet. He's doing better but i wouldn't consider him 100% healthy yet. I live in a very old house and that might be why it's getting so cold. And yes, I don't have heat in my room(where i keep my cham)
I've tried putting foil around the enclosure to keep the heat in but he gets stressed when i do that. And it doesn't seem like you're arguing at all!

I will tomorrow, I want to get a picture of Hope when she's been listed and is drinking. That is a look of pure ecstacy if a chameleon ever had one.

I am still trying to get the right picture of Hope. She has been in the wrong positions lately.

I wish the thread starter and their chameleon the best, but I have to close this discussion. If anyone has a question feel free to contact me.
