? on Reptisafe

I have never used this- is this something you guys use in your mist systems ?
I am leery to use in in my res/ tanks for the mistking - and am always nervous to spray anything but water on my chams - we have a sandstone filtered well, and we do not use any type of water system - should I still add this to the res/ tank, or not - from what I read on the jug, I am kinda thinking this is a city water thing ? to get rid of chlorine ? the res/ tanks hold 15 gal- but I only ever add 2 - 5 to keep it fresh - will this help pro-long the safety of the water in the tank ?

Never used it, but get yourself a reverse osmosis system form lowes or home depot, they are easy to install and you can drink the water too, that is what i use and had no problems, good luck
