Odds of "the poke"

I bought a gravid vield yesterday and decided to introduce my male vieled (mojo) to her cage.
It was on, like he had done it 1,000 times before, the biggest thing though is that she is alot bigger than he is.
Mojo is about 8 months old and she is about a year. The new female was litteraly climbing with Mojo on her, never the less she stopped moving and he still tried getting it in...

He was not able to.

Should I wait until Mojo is bigger or let him try and get another poke in?

I would wait until he is over a year and/or larger than her. Luckily no injuries happened this time.

You say she's gravid? There is no chance of her being receptive if she's already gravid. It would be a good idea to get her a laying bin set up as soon as possible to prevent health complications. Have a look at Veiled breeding guides on the forum, that way you will learn to recognise what her patterning means.
