Welcome to the forum! Good job on filling out the "how to ask for help" right off the bat!

Carol is right and the bulb you are using is good for warmth only. The info on the bulb says:

"Provides basking heat source for reptiles to regulate their body temperature. Simulates the natural daytime photo-environment of the reptile’s habitat. For UVB output, use Zilla Desert 50 or Tropical 25 UVB Fluorescent Bulbs."

So, you do need to get a bulb for UVB. Otherwise, it sounds like you've been doing your homework. Have you done the research about laying bins for the girl issue? I've researched and am still nervous about it :) And, my advice: read everything sandrachameleon had written about nutrition and gutloading. I can't believe the difference the healthy diet makes in my chams.

i have read a lot about the female's egglaying process, and just like you, im still so nervous!

i unfortunately wasnt prepared with a uvb bulb at first, but it's in the mail and scheduled to be here tomorrow. :)

my concern with the poop was that the urate part? looked funny? it looked like a cocoon lol but if it's normal, then im happy :)
