Nozzles Screeching and RainDomes Splashing

I recently setup a couple RainDomes from AquaZamp on a couple 4' tall cages from Dragon Strand, and I'm having an issue with the nozzles on the RainDomes screeching, a very high pitched sound while they're misting. Any ideas on why they would be doing this? I don't think every nozzle is doing it, but at least 2 of them.

Also, since the water seems to pool a bunch on top of the screen, there are large streams of water that end up splashing out of the cage when they hit the bottom (even though I have the breeder series cages with 3 solid sides). I'm thinking about switching to mist nozzles that are mounted on bulk heads through the side walls to hopefully eliminate some of the splashing and get more coverage over the plants. Currently the RainDomes only cover a small portion of the plants.

Any tips from people with more experience would be very helpful. I have a pair of Yellow Crested Jackson's.

Thanks!
Chris

At first, my raindomes made that noise, too. I don't know why, but after a little while it did go away. The water pooled at the top, at first, too. But that stopped, too. I used a different brand of cages, though. I don't know the specifics of why it does that, but for me it did stop. Now I just get some droplets that stay on the screen, but most of the droplets rain down and a little mist. I don't get any streams of water.
One thing you can try, though I'm not positive that it would make a difference, is to turn the spray heads in the dome to hit more of the dome. Just incase they are pointed down and hitting the screen full force.

Ah, interesting. Maybe there is something on the new screen that causes it to repel water more that eventually washes off. I'll let the system run for a couple days and see what happens.

Might still switch to just the nozzles though in order to get better coverage.

I just ordered a raindome system and a large dragon stand cage. Hopefully everything works out. I watched youtube videos of the dome and noticed the water dripping from the top. The chameleon was actually drinking from the screen at the top of the cage.

You can try just rubbing the cage screen with your hand. I think it is surface tension keeping the water from raining down. Do it after each misting for a few days and it will stop.

As for the screeching, you might want to open up the last nozzle and let the air out of the line.
