As most of you know we rescued a few chams recently.
Bemis has been I'll since we got him, but Raneri has developed an eye issue.
We've notice since we received him he had sort of puffy droopy eyes.

We never thought anything of it because everyone who's seen him never noticed or saw it as an issue.
Well we went to weigh him tonight and his left eye is actually glazed over and there is some sort of lump. he can move it around just fine but he cannot close his eye and he seems to be having vision problems.

Please help us.
We are trying to do the best we can for these animals and all your support means the world.

I was going to say try and wash his eye out with lukewarm dechlorinated water in case there was something stuck in his eye but it may just irritate it more. Such a tough call I know  Could you just do an early lights out so he can just rest on it until you get him to the vet tomorrow?

Yeah it's already lights out.
He can't close the eye though :(
I feel so
Bad.
I'm almost leaning toward eye infection because of the lining over his eye.

Every time I see you having problems with these guys I feel so guilty! Right after you agreed to take them, I had called a friend I wanted to have them. I am sooooo sorry I yelled at you for getting these chams, even if you did not know it.

I have seen several people with this same eye problem. Mostly it has been an eye infection that was cleared up with terramycin . If you have any on hand I would try that. Best of luck

All is forgiven.
We are trying to do our best for them and provide the best home and family we can.
We love them.
Unconditionally.
Hopefully everything will pan out and we can all be ok.

There is no way my friend would have had the time you have taken, without you that chams would not have a chance. I am thrilled to death you have them.
