Now I know

So my little guy finally came out of his cage and was really excited !
However , when I wanted to hold him different went really bad , he was soooooooooooooooo stressed out , black spots were all over him :( I wanted to get him on the stick but he hissed at me!!' Very first time and that's when I was scared to get near him , my godfather finally put him in the cage , and he told me that I had grab him from the back instead from the front ,always room for improvement

I would never grab them from the back. That will definitely be worse, possibly hurt them, freak them out, etc.

Always slide your hand GENTLY under them, under their neck or belly and gently lift up. My veiled who hates handling always tries to bite me, but once I start lifting up he stops and calms down. Never grab from the back!

Well that's what I kind of meant he slid his hand under his belly , but yeah got freaked out , lesson learned
