Noobie question about supplements

Hi I am new here. I've kept jackson chameleons in the past so I am sorta familiar of how to care and house them. Sofirst of all let me tell you a bit about my chameleons I have now.
I have 2 baby Jackson's, and yes these are the first babies I've ever had, that were given to me. They are about an inch including tail maybe less. I've had them for about a week now and they are eating lots and drinking everyday. Right now they are in a aquarium, yes I know very bad air flow, and I'm only using it because I don't want those crickets squeezing themselves thru the holes in the screen cages. I also don't have any type of UVB light yet and will buy one soon, but for now I take them out for sunlight at least 1 hr a day. They are very smart and will run to shade if they get hot and run back to heat up. I am currently waiting for them to get at least 2 inches or more till I get them a cage and UVB bulb.
Ok so here's the main question I wanted to ask. The supplement I use is reptocal from tetrafauna, calcium with d3. Currently I am not dusting. But I am dusting veggies for the crickets I feed to them. Is it ok to feed these crickets to my baby's daily?
I read on here that you don't need to feed chams supplements with d3 very often. But was not sure if they meant dusting or feeding crickets.
Will I be ok regarding the supplement plan I am currently doing?
Sorry for long post but I'd thought I should let you know more about my chams before I asked anything. Thanks a lot for help.
