Chameleon Info:
• Your Chameleon - The species, sex, and age of your chameleon. How long has it been in your care? Jackson Xanth, 1yr. , since she was born
• Handling - How often do you handle your chameleon? Never
• Feeding - What are you feeding your cham? What amount? What is the schedule? How are you gut-loading your feeders? Crickets and sometimes dubia roaches, I skip wesndays and Sundays, I give them peppers, greens, cucumbers, ect.
• Supplements - What brand and type of calcium and vitamin products are you dusting your feeders with and what is the schedule? I use Repashy Calcium Plus, with every other feeding.
• Watering - What kind of watering technique do you use? How often and how long to you mist? Do you see your chameleon drinking? I use a mistking five times a day for 3 or 5 minutes a day. I usually don’t , but her poop it white.
• Fecal Description - Briefly note colors and consistency from recent droppings. Has this chameleon ever been tested for parasites? The poop is brown, and the urates is white with a tiny tiny bit of orange. She has never been tested.
• History - Any previous information about your cham that might be useful to others when trying to help you. I’ve had her since birth, my decseaded female gave birth to her.
Cage Info:
• Cage Type - Describe your cage (Glass, Screen, Combo?) What are the dimensions? All screen, 24 by 24 by 36.
• Lighting - What brand, model, and types of lighting are you using? What is your daily lighting schedule? UVA: Normal house bulb. UVB: Repti glow changed every 5-6 months. 8am- 8pm
• Temperature - What temp range have you created (cage floor to basking spot)? Lowest overnight temp? How do you measure these temps? Bottom is about 64 and the basking is about 75-78F. Overnight would be about 65. I have a temp. gun.
• Humidity - What are your humidity levels? How are you creating and maintaining these levels? What do you use to measure humidity? Probably 70-80% when just sprayed, and 65-70% when drying. I spray for 3-5 minutes 5 times a day. I had a cheap little thometer.
• Plants - Are you using live plants? If so, what kind? I giant pothos and 2 fake plants.
• Placement - Where is your cage located? Is it near any fans, air vents, or high traffic areas? At what height is the top of the cage relative to your room floor? In my room, no vents or anything like that, no traffic at all, the top of the cage is about 5 ½ feer of the ground.
• Location - Where are you geographically located? In a rule area, in washington
Current Problem - The current problem you are concerned about. My cham just had pearls/slugs ( the yellow sacks) and I don’t know why or how.
