Looks great so far, are you planning on getting an adult? the recommendation for me has been to start with a small cage and graduate to a larger cage as the cham grows.

no i wanted a baby so what i was gonna do was to seprate the top half from the bottom at the center brace with plexi and only buy my forground plants and use them for the top section landscape until he gets bigger

not bad, really awsome:cool:

and that might be a good idea to do that, why spend for an extra cage, when you can manipualte a big cage to divide spaces to make it smaller... i agree and go with your idea to do that for tha baby cham:)

plus for the sdmaller cage you can maybe do a drainage system underneath:cool:

i will do a piece of plywood for the back or is there something better i can do?

You may want to get stronger, thicker mesh, then again I can't really tell what size it is. If it is too small there is a risk for nails being ripped and torn off.

If you clean the feces the chameleon cage itself doesn't smell.

You can get dead feeders in and under the plants, and occasionally in the water collection system, and that can get ripe.

Plants sometimes can get little gnats which won't smell, but momma may have a conversation with you about them sharing your living space.

The back can be hard board, Plexiglas, plywood, glass, or whatever you want. I would do screen on the back for easy viewing, you have lots of places to connect branches and vines.

Know what you mean....

Don't worry my Husband is VERY picky... I can't have a dog inside, I can't have a cat ect. So when I decided to get a Cham I told him "I don't want to hear one word"... "They are clean animals, don't make noise, don't shed, don't smell.... and the poop is easy clean up!" lol!

I have zero issues with smell.... But I keep everything clean on a daily basis.
:D:p:D

i was thinking the same thing hopefully today i can find something to put over the top of the screen

If you want just a few river rocks, dollar stores, walmart or craft stores carry them in little bags. For more, try a garden store. Even Home Depot or somewhere like that.
BTW, chameleons and their cages don't stink. My husband would have a fit if they did!

ok so today i will be add ing a door and adding a drawf umberlla as of now i have the hib pothos and ficus benji last thing is uvb and then i can get my cham
