Newbie all around

I am really glad I found this form. I am considering getting a chameleon but I want to do all my research before hand.

There is a local breeder that had 52 babies hatch and I have my eye on one of the Turquoise babies. They won't be ready for 8 weeks so It gives me ample time to research.

I have never kept lizards till I lived with my best friend. She has a leopard gecko and then wanted a bearded dragon. I did a lot of research on the dragon first before I helped her rescue Buddy. He's an awesome guy and I help her take care of him, the gecko, 2 bunnies and we each have a dog. lol mini zoo I guess.

I've always had an interest in chameleon's but seeing these babies really made me fall in love. I'm still not 100% decided on it. I figure the more I read and the closer they get to their 8 weeks I'll know if they are something I'll be able to take care of properly.

Anyways enough of a book lol looking forward to making friends on here and learning as much as I possibly can!

There is a lot of conflicting information on the internet about keeping chameleons - the great thing about the resources here is that they were developed by people with years of successful experience...and some of those same people are still here on the forum helping others out
